Over the past few years there is a surge in startups in India. In most of the events I attend, I see at least a dozen startups showcased. And believe me there are some very interesting startups. Now ever wondered how to get a database of startups fromIndia? Here is one interesting place where you could find all the startups from India. YourStory Pages is a database of all things related to the Indian startup ecosystem.
YourStory.in has been involved in the Indian startup ecosystem for nearly 4 years, and in that time they have covered thousands of startups and featured many stories about the efforts, success (and sometimes failures) of these startups. Modeled after Wikipedia, this database is editable by anyone. So feel free to look around, and edit & add data about your startups.
Within a week of launch, we have over 700 companies that listed their profiles on Pages. The offering is currently in beta. The idea behind this initiative by Yourstory is to become the one-stop shop for all structured information about startups, apps, investors, VCs, mentors, service providers and more. And YourStory Pages is definitely a one stop shop for all these information.
By creating this database of information, it would be easier for entrepreneurs, service providers, investors and mentors to find each other.
