Signature Premier World of 8 International Fashion Tour in Mumbai
I got a chance to cover “The Signature Premier World of 8 International Fashion Tour 2011″ and the experience was great. The event brings international designers from 8 fashion capitals of the world to showcase their designs at the Signature Premier International Fashion Tour 2011. The tour is happening in 8 cities in India. Fashion capitals like Sydney, Milan, Madrid, London, Mumbai, Sao Paulo, New York and Paris will be represented in Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mumbai and Hyderabad respectively. Each city of the Signature Premier Fashion Tour will mirror the designated fashion capital of the world through its settings, costumes, ambience, etc.
The showstoppers for each of these international designer creations will be the winner of the international beauty pageant of their respective country. Leading Indian designers will showcase their couture with fashion icons from Bollywood walking the ramp for them during this eight city tour.
International designers who make up the tour include Frank Tell (New York), Wayne Cooper (Sydney), Christian Blaken (London), Silvio Betterelli (Milan), Anna Locking (Madrid), Emannuelle Junqueira (Sau Paulo) and Kevin O’Brian (Paris). Indian designers part of the tour include Tarun Tahiliani, JJ Vallaya, Manav Gangwani, Varun Bahl, Manoviraj Khosla and Shane & Falguni Peacock.
Mumbai league of the Signature Premier World of 8 International Fashion Tour showcased Frank Tell, leading designer from New York and Manoviraj Khosla ace designer from India showcased their fabulous collections.
The event happened at The banquet hall of Novotel at Juhu Beach Road. Frank Tell, International Designer from New York, known for his use of embossed leather, showcased a curated version of his Spring Summer 2012 collection which he is also showing at New York Fashion Week.
This collection was inspired by suspended bridges. Rima Fakih Miss USA 2010 was the International showstopper

Manoviraj Khosla showed his class and style in his collections that were both glamorous and sophisticated. With a subdued colour palette of white, beige, grey and black, his collections was classy to the core specially created for the contemporary Indian men and women. The showstopper for Manoviraj Khosla’s collection was Ritesh Deshmukh, the Bollywood actor.
