Animator Andrew Park illustrates Denis Dutton’s provocative theory on beauty — that art, music and other beautiful things, far from being simply “in the eye of the beholder,” are a core part of human nature with deep evolutionary origins.

It’s A Really Really Free Market
Free Market
According to Wikipedia, is a market in which there is no economic intervention and regulation by the state, except to enforce private contracts and the ownership of property. But nothing is free in this market
An ideal free market
property rights are voluntarily exchanged at a price arranged solely by the mutual consent of sellers and buyers. and they do not coerce each other, in the sense that they obtain each other’s property rights without the use of physical force, threat of physical force, or fraud, nor are they coerced by a third party.
But then here also money is involved and because of that there are sellers and buyers, so What if you land up in a place that is Really Really Free Market? where there is no mention of money but still people can exchange things, skills?
Welcome to Chennai’s first Really Really Free Market( RRFM)!!!
Kiruba Shankar, CEO of Business Blogging, has broughtReally Really Free Market to Chennai. According to Kiruba, who recently gave a interview to BBC regarding this event, says “RRFM is a worldwide event that encourages sharing of skills we are good at and material things we no longer use”.
The event is happening at YMCA, Royapettah on Nov 27, Saturday from 4pm to 7pm
And the participants list is very impressive
We have people who are bringing Books, movies, ice-cold lemonade and Gulab Jamuns
who are ready to teach origami,
There is National rowing champion and rowing coach, who will teach rowing techniques on land!!??? that’s interesting!!!
Want to learn about Krav-Maga, the Israeli close combat?
How about learning the art of endurance cycling? and basic of aerodynamics and and jet engines?
So come to RRFM, believe me, its Really Really Free!!!

TiECon Chennai 2010: Ajith Balakrishnan, Rediff
Ajith Balakrishnan of Rediff spoke about “Changing face of Entrepreneurship”
3 Paradoxes
we see Indian programmer everywhere, but not in the computer science journals
$40 billion IT industry no local VC Industry
$1 Billion people but only 10 million Broadband connections, China has 150 million
Entrepreneurs who stayed on the game in the last 15 years succeed
Every 3-4 years we are hit by a recession, the trick is to stay and come out of that as quickly as possible
If you are a good entrepreneur you will know how to fail cheapily
There is an emerging trend for original content
Time spent and page views in mobile devices in Japan is several times higher than in laptops or desktops
Every week some tablet like devices appearing in the market
In a sense these devices are closing the internet to various compartments
Problem of seed funding in India is more to do with tax and legal issues
Some times your ideas can be ahead of time, some times you will not be knowing how to carry out of the idea
Sustainability of Entrepreneurs is all about nurturing, patience
It will take a minimum of 10 years to set up a company
Indian IT companies were extremely innovative till late 1980s
Then bodyshop started and Indian programmers became very cheap, thanks to financial turmoil
Innovation happens when customers bring out problems

Dharma of the leader is to speak when you are faced with wrong doing
People who work hate their work, that’s why we have restaurants like TGIF and they call Blue Monday
But Entrepreneurs gets their high from actually working and loving your work
Nishkanth Karma mentioned by Shri Krishna in Mahabharata, get immersed in the work you are doing
Attitude is another dharma of an Entrepreneurs,Recruit people for the attitude and train them the skills
